No, this modem only supports coax based cable interenet.  Coax cable is the same cable that plugs into the antenna port of a tv.

Depends on your internet provider.  Xfinity uses an app for setup while most other providers use a dedicated web page in your account. If all else fails, all providers can add your modem over the phone.
